Elise began her career at FFMP as an articling student and has continued as an associate. She practices in the areas of corporate insolvency and restructuring, real estate, banking, as well as civil and commercial litigation. She routinely assists insolvency professionals, creditors, debtors and banks in the implementation or opposition of claims processes, the seizure and recovery of unpaid goods, and the development or contestation of various plans, proposals and transactions. Elise has also participated in several complex litigation files including a cross-border real estate dispute, the defense of a majority shareholder of a multi-million dollar manufacturing business against injunctive relief sought by a minority shareholder, and the representation of parties subject to investigations, freeze orders, and cease trade orders brought by the Autorité des marchés financiers.
